Man, that was fast, huh?

I've decided to go ahead and move my blog to Wordpress. It's something I've been considering for some time, so I just kind of impulsively started a WP blog and imported everything from here. So there. Done. I like WP's more full-featured platform, altho I am facing a bit of a learning curve. It's not too bad, I have another WP blog (Walking Leaf Photo, check it out!), but that one is self-hosted, whereas Mindless Blogging About Nothing is hosted by Wordpress.com. There are differences, the main one being that I can't upload a bunch of different themes and then choose among them at random. That may become a bigger deal than it is now, but I'm happy with the setup for now. My main problem with Blogger was that I couldn't find a theme that didn't make my pics go all wonky, other than the ones that Blogger itself offers, and I wanted a more custom look than any of those without having to actually do the coding myself. Yes, I know Blogger's Layout interface is WYSIWYG, but I just don't have time to sit here for hours working on my banner, font styles, colors, etc., and I don't know any CSS. I can make small changes to an already done CSS style sheet (font styles, colors, font sizes, and the like), but I can't write a whole style sheet by myself. SO.....that means I'm stuck with a template. Anyway! I'm happy with the new blog so far! It still needs a little work, I've been going through and categorizing all of my old posts, and then I still need to rebuild my links lists, and lists of favorites that I had on my blog here. Will probably do all of that tomorrow, tho, I'm about to head out for some Christmas shopping!
